Episode Synopsis: The Challenge

With a final glance at the Reform Club clock, Michael Palin embarks on an epic journey - to follow in the footsteps of Jules Verne's fictional hero, Philias Fogg, and circumnavigate the globe within 80 days. To complete the challenge, he must travel only by land or sea, but halted at the Brenner Pass in Austria on only the second day of travelling, Michael is already behind schedule.
