About Cher Lloyd
Cher LLoyd is a singer from the English town of Malvern in Worcestershire. She was thrust into the public eye after auditioning for the 2010 series of The X-Factor. She finished fourth, behind eventual winner Matt Cardle.
Cher was mentored by Cheryl Cole, who was assisted for several weeks by will.i.am who would later agree to take on the role of creative director for Lloyd's debut album.
Despite failing to finish in the top 3 Cher signed a management deal with Simon Cowell's company SyCo after the series finished.
