Ricky and Stephen are, of course, known for their TV writing partnership, in particular the sitcoms 'The Office' and 'Extras'.
Karl Pilkington was Ricky & Steve's producer when the pair hosted a Saturday morning radio show on London's Xfm 104.9FM.
Ricky & Stephen left Xfm to launch a podcast which was initially distributed by The Guardian Newspaper. They took Karl Pilkington with them as their producer and comedy foil. The enormous sucess of the Guardian podcast led to Gervais being dubbed 'The Podfather'.
