Vato Gonzalez is a Dutch DJ and producer. Along with his collaborator MC Tjen, Gonzalez is known as the originator of the ‘Dirty House’ movement in his home country of the Netherlands. 'Dirty House' began as a series of mixtapes released when Gonzalez was still a student, it has grown to encompass a series of nightclub events across mainland Europe, a booking agency and a record label.
Vato Gonzalez was born and raised in the town of Spijkenisse near to Rotterdam.
