About Dizzee Rascal

Dizzee Rascal (real name: Dylan Mills) is a rapper and hip-hop artist from Bow in East London.

Dizzee began making music at the age of 16 on his school's computer. He would later DJ at local youth events. His first album 'Boy In Da Corner', which spawned the singles 'I Luv U' and 'Fix Up, Look Sharp', won the 2003 Mercury Music Prize.

In 2003 Dizzee also collaborated with the Basement Jaxx on their third album, Kish Kash on the track 'Lucky Star'.

Dizzee rascal's sound is a mixture of UK Garage and hip-hop beats and featuring an ecletic range of samples. He is reocgnised as on the forefathers of UK grime.
